We’re excited to kick off the summer at Ogden Murphy Wallace by welcoming our incredible 2025 Summer Associates! These talented law students bring diverse experiences, academic excellence, and fresh perspectives to our team, and we’re thrilled to have them with us.

Julia Ely is a rising 3L at the University of Washington School of Law. Originally from Basalt, Colorado, she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in sociology from American University in Washington, D.C. As a Gregoire Fellow, Julia spent last summer split between OMW and Weyerhaeuser, and we’re excited to welcome her back for another summer.

Laith Kewan is a rising 2L at Seattle University School of Law and a Gregoire Fellow. Originally from Jonesboro, Arkansas, Laith grew up in Bentonville and moved to Seattle last August. He earned his BA in History from the University of Arkansas, along with a minor in General Business and a certificate in Cybersecurity and Data Management. We’re excited to welcome Laith to OMW this summer!

Shi Ya Neill is a rising 3L at Seattle University School of Law, where her favorite subjects include civil procedure and legal writing. Before law school, she worked as a legal assistant at a nonprofit organization that supports individuals navigating unemployment benefit issues. We’re delighted to have her join us this summer!

We look forward to a great summer with Julia, Laith, and Shi Ya.

OMW’s Summer Associate Program gives law students the opportunity to work closely with our attorneys across a variety of practice areas, gaining meaningful, hands-on experience and insight into the legal profession through real-world projects and mentorship.
