Julia Norwood is an associate attorney in the firm’s litigation department. Her practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, personal injury and wrongful death, employment law, product liability, asbestos defense, real estate, and insurance defense. Prior to joining Ogden Murphy Wallace, Julia practiced at a Seattle-based boutique commercial litigation firm. During law school, she interned with the Honorable Robert E. Jones of the U.S. District Court of Oregon, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the University of Washington Mediation Clinic.
Julia is also a licensed Private Investigator. She conducts workplace investigations involving issues such as sexual harassment, sexual assault, discrimination based on race, age, and national origin, violations of workplace policies, and retaliation.
Julia received her undergraduate degree in history from Oregon State University, summa cum laude. At the University of Washington School of Law, she served as Vice President of Finance for Moot Court Honor Board, Senior Comments Editor of the Washington International Law Journal, and Vice President of Communication for the Women’s Law Caucus.
