Jessica’s approach combines understanding her client’s goals and objectives with an experienced and tactical approach to resolving litigious issues.
Jessica is a Member in the firm’s litigation department and an experienced litigator with both a local and national practice with a focus on representing medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers in product liability litigation as well as providing her clients risk management counseling, on a variety of issues including product recalls, regulatory matters and the emerging area of Health IT.
Jessica serves as national counsel for several product manufacturers, including medical device manufacturers. In her capacity as national counsel, Jessica manages her clients’ national and international litigation, allowing for the opportunity to practice in both state and federal court in a number of jurisdictions. Jessica also acts as regional defense counsel for a variety of product manufactures.
Jessica was awarded the Butch Blum Award of Excellence in 2004 and was named to the Washington Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers in 2005-2009, 2011 and 2012.
Jessica received her B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Washington in 1996 and her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 1999, where she was a Comments Editor of the Pacific Rim Law and Policy Journal.
