Adam has significant experience working with healthcare organizations and businesses assisting them with insightful and creative solutions to issues related to their regulatory, real estate and employment issues and needs. As a seasoned attorney with a deep understanding of a complex regulatory framework, Adam advises clients on navigating federal, state, and local regulations, while helping them ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

Adam is a member of OMW’s Health Law, Business, Real Estate, and Litigation Groups. His practice encompasses a broad range of business and real estate transactions, as well as litigation matters, with a particular focus on healthcare law. He represents hospitals, physician groups, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare providers in transactions, compliance, and regulatory matters. Adam advises clients on hospital-physician joint ventures, corporate compliance programs, Stark and Anti-Kickback Statute compliance, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, licensing, certificate of need, and tax-exempt organization issues. He also assists clients in responding to government investigations, False Claims Act matters, and healthcare-related litigation.

Beyond healthcare, Adam has extensive experience in real estate and business transactions, including financings, commercial leasing, and property sales. He has served as lead counsel in major transactions, including several commercial property purchases and sales, commercial and tax-exempt real estate financings. He represents both landlords and tenants in commercial lease agreements and provides counsel on various corporate and employment matters.

Adam is also a certified NFL Player Agent and has negotiated several NFL player contracts as a contract advisor with the NFL Players Association since 2011. He frequently speaks and writes on topics related to fraud and abuse investigations, healthcare transactions, and real estate matters.

Adam has been selected to the Washington Super Lawyers list by Super Lawyers in multiple years since 2004. He received his B.A. in Economics from Boston University in 1990 and his J.D., cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 1995. Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
