A litigation associate with extensive trial experience, Raymond Delos Reyes is well-versed in simplifying complex and stressful legal issues, taking careful time to understand his client’s goals and needs, and using a pragmatic and fearless approach to achieve the best results for them. Raymond’s current practice focuses on assisting clients with all aspects of pending and active litigation involving contracts, employment law, and torts.

Before joining OMW, Raymond was an attorney with the Associated Counsel for the Accused Division of King County Department of Public Defense. As a public defender in the Family Defense Unit, Raymond represented parents and youth who were subject to dependency/CPS petitions. Prior to his work in the Family Defense Unit, Raymond tried both misdemeanor offense and Involuntary Treatment Act cases, all in King County. Prior to becoming a public defender, Raymond worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Assistant Attorney for the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Born and raised in the Rainier Valley neighborhood of Seattle, Raymond received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, graduating with a BA in Sociology. Raymond later received his JD from Seattle University School of Law, enrolled in their part-time program while working full-time at a large aerospace company. During law school, Raymond worked as an extern for then-Superior Court Judge Mary Yu.

In addition to his work, Raymond is a 2016 Fellow of the Washington Leadership Institute and is a board member of the Filipino Lawyers of Washington. Raymond is also an adjunct professor at the Seattle University School of Law and an affiliate professor at the University of Washington School of Law.

When Raymond is away from work, he spends careful time brewing the perfect cup of pour over coffee so that he has the energy to be with his family, play various sports (basketball, running, golf, pool), follow Seattle and University of Washington sports teams, and listen to music.
