Raymond D. Ogden, Sr. opened a small general law practice in 1902. Since then, Ogden Murphy Wallace, P.L.L.C. has grown to become one of the largest law firms in the state. Yet we have always maintained the kind of personal attention to client issues that Mr. Ogden provided when he first opened his office doors. Over the years the firm’s client roster has grown significantly and now includes individuals, businesses of all sizes, and numerous Northwest municipalities.

Since the firm’s inception, we have put a great deal of effort into making the legal affairs of clients as smooth and unexceptional as possible by anticipating and preventing problems. However, when problems developed or clients became involved in disputes, the firm honed its skills in courtroom swordplay that earned its attorneys respect among judges and the bar.

Fifty years ago Traveler’s Insurance Co., the firm’s oldest continuous client, chose Ogden Murphy Wallace, P.L.L.C. to handle its local legal issues. Thirty years ago Overlake Hospital came into existence, in part through the tireless efforts of Ray Ogden, Jr., and they have been a client ever since. Today, the firm represents more Washington cities than any other law firm in the Northwest. Our long-standing client relationships demonstrate our commitment to client satisfaction.

In the second century of the firm’s existence, we continue to provide responsive personal attention and effective solutions to meet our clients’ needs.
