Greg A. Rubstello is a Member in the firm’s Employment/Labor Law and Municipal Practice Groups. His practice emphasis is in the areas of public labor and employment law and in ethics for municipal officials and employees. Greg has extensive experience on behalf of public employers in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, advising supervisors and administrative officials in the administration of discipline, defending and prosecuting unfair labor practice complaints, and advocating on behalf of the employer in mediation, and in interest and grievance arbitration proceedings. Greg also has successfully represented employers in Civil Service and other administrative proceedings, as well as in civil litigation defending claims of discrimination, wrongful discharge and civil rights violations.

Before joining Ogden Murphy Wallace in 1995, Greg served for fourteen years as the in-house City Attorney for the City of Pasco. While at the firm, Greg has served as City Attorney for the cities of Bothell, Carnation and Lynnwood. Greg also has experience in all aspects of municipal law. From Public Disclosure to Open Meeting Act issues and from Land Use to Eminent Domain, Greg can provide assistance to public employers.
Greg is a Past President of the Washington State Association of Municipal Attorneys (WSAMA).
Greg was born in 1949 in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1972 with a B.A. in History and received his J.D. from the Loyola University School of Law (New Orleans, LA) in 1975. |
